Enamel is more used on copper
ornaments; this technique is a common practice in Isfahan. First the ornament is crafted based on the design and then its coated in white glaze. The coating will be repeated for 3 to 4 times. Each time the article will be placed in a furnace and heated at the temperature of 700 degrees to make the coating color harden and stable. Next the patterns will be painted on the surface of the article and heated again at the temperature of 400 to 500 degrees to bring out the true colors.
